Issues with Slido for PowerPoint. The presentations suddenly stopped opening

My presentations with Slido are suddenly having problems. They open but when launched, Powerpoint closes again. Up until yesterday, everything was working fine. Then today, nothing. I get a txt file called debug log in the folder where the presentation is located. When I open it, this message appears: [0911/163749.606:WARNING:main_runner.cc(261)] Alloy bootstrap is deprecated and will be removed in ~M127. See https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues/3685When the PPT presentation fails to launch, I am asked if I want to open PPT in safe mode. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what might be an adequate solution?

Zoom Presentation

For the first time I am using Slido for multiple choice questions in a PowerPoint Zoom presentation. How can I verify slido works and attendees can answer the questions before the Zoom presentation? Thank you.

Survey keeps reverting to don't show results

I have a survey that keeps reverting to “Don’t show results”.  How do I fix it?  It’s a select one poll with an open ended poll if they selected Other. I have another survey that combines several select one questions and it displays fine when I’m presenting.

Need help to create a new slido on a ppt where another slido created a slido then deleted it.

Hi Everyone,I’m very new to Slido.I’m working on a ppt where someone else previously created slido’s then deleted them from the ppt.I want to create new slidos within the same ppt but keep getting the message…“This presentation is linked to another Slido accountTo edit existing polls or add new ones, please switch to the Slido account connected to this presentation.”The original person deleted the slido linked to the ppt, so how can I add a new slido using my account?Many thanks for your advice.

New Slido for PowerPoint update crashing

I just installed the latest Slido for PowerPoint add-in update, and it keeps crashing PowerPoint. If I try to open a file with a Slido presentation added, the PowerPoint boot-up window comes up, then disappears and my file never opens. I can successfully open files without a Slido presentation, at which point the file I unsuccessfully tried to open will show up in the autosave alert column on the left. If I then try to open that autosaved file, it once more crashes PowerPoint. I can open all of my files fine if I disable the Slide add-in.I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Slido add-in, and disabling and re-enabling it. I’m on a PC running Windows 10 Education version.

Switching accounts for a PPT slide deck already created

Hi, I set up a few Slido presentations last year using another account. However, now I need to use my new account and email address - but Slido keeps stating: “This presentation is linked to another Slido account. To edit existing polls or add new ones, please switch to the Slido account connected to this presentation”. This is something that I can’t do now, so I hope you can help. Is there a way to simply transfer my PPT presentations to my new account? I’d hate to have to start all over again!

Number of polls in powerpoint

I have incorporated slido polls into a PowerPoint training presentation. However the maximum polls it will let me upload into my presentation is 9, but I want 15 is this correct?  I have created 15 on my online app.How do I get around this as I want to use the same slido qr code throughout my training sessionAny advice would be helpful. Thank you

Hello,I created a slide deck with a Slido poll. I plan on hosting multiple meetings on different days and times. Can I use the same slide deck without losing my poll information or do I need to create different decks for each group?

Hello! Is it possible to lock a poll while presenting using PowerPoint? I would like to capture the initial analytics of the question and prevent my students from changing their responses while we discuss the correct answer.

Can't delete connection to Powerpoint!

Hello  I tested slido a few weeks ago with my private account. Now we have made a business account. But now I always get this message: I must be able to delete this link. I have deleted all surveys and even deleted my account. Nothing has worked.... Re-creating the PowerPoint is out of the question as there are over 100 pages. Thank you for your quick help. Greetings Daniel

Slido in Powerpoint insists presentation is linked to other account

Dear Community,I am trying to create a poll in a Powerpoint presentation for work, but there is an exclamation mark by the Slido logo and it says that the presentation is linked to another account. This seems to be a Microsoft ac.uk account I have with a university (where I sit on a committee), but that is not my primary place of work. I am trying to log into Slido with my .ac.uk account so I can log out of it, but it won’t accept my password. I click on ‘forgot password’ but no reset link arrives ( I am checking my spam folder in my Microsoft email account). The Powerpoint is provided for me by my employer on a work laptop, and I can log in and out of Slido at slido.com no problem with my work email (Google), but I cannot shift this association with the Microsoft account or log out of it. Any ideas, please?Thanks,Penny.

Teams integration not working

Hi Community,could it be that the Teams integration is broken? When selecting "sharing" (freigeben in German), it opens a separate window, not integrated into the Teams meeting. What's more concerning is that the content displayed is my admin view, not the presentation view, which is quite frustrating during a live meeting. Just last week, it functioned perfectly.I already contacted Slido via contact form.Maybe someone else is facing this problem.It looks like this.Slido Teams App Version: 3.4.0

Auto-loop playing Slido (or Google Slides)

I'm trying to set up a public screen at our event to show live results from multiple quizzes. Since I won't be manually advancing the slides, I need to find a way to make the presentation auto-advance.For example, I want to display live results and leaderboards for Quizzes A, B, and C. They are under the same session. Each quiz has three questions. I'd like to show the live results and leaderboard after each quiz. I want the slides to auto-play and loop until the event ends.I've tried using Slido's Google Slides integration, but it's not working as expected. It keeps going back and forth between the 'Join the quiz' screen and the first question of Quiz A. The Slido player doesn't seem to have an autoplay or loop feature. I have to manually start the presentation over each time. Is there a way to fix this?

Problems with Webex Login

Hello everyone,I’m logged in with Webex to my Slido Account.However, when I click on “Present” to present my poll - it redirects me to a different page where I have to enter my Webex Password. My Webex Account runs via my company system - so I don’t seem to have an extra Webex password (as it doesnt accept my password) - when I press “forgot password” - I dont receive the code via e-mail (also not in the spam folder).So to sum up - I’m logged in, but I have to “log in” again differently to use certain functions and I dont know how to do that. Thanks for the help.

If you wanted to assign a point value for your poll questions or just to a Quiz is there a way to do that so when someone completes a series of questions a percentage out of 100 is received by the presenter?

Hello!I am a new Slido user.  I am looking to integrate a poll with a presentation created by a colleague - when I try and log in from my account it says that the presentation is linked with someone else’s account (my colleague’s).  How do I get it to switch over to using my Slido account? Presentation with Slido in both Zoom AND Webex?

Hi team,I use Slido in my training PowerPoint presentations. I recently used it in both PPT and Zoom at the same time and WOW...it was amazing. Super easy and effortless. My question though...depending on my client, sometimes I use Zoom and sometimes I use Webex for my trainings. Can I use the same PPT deck in a Webex call if I’ve already used it in a Zoom call. Does it matter? I’m a little nervous to test, afraid I might lose something.

Slido for PowerPoint Error: "You appear to be offline. Check your internet connection."

I followed steps from video to download add-in. As soon as I open PowerPoint, Slido icon says I’m offline. The error never goes away even if I logout of Slido and back in again. I am most definitely not offline. Has anyone seen this error before? Thanks.

Slido Survey Results Not Showing in Webex for Participants

Hi all,Question as to why the survey results are not showing for attendees? This is for the Slido plug-in for Webex. I opened my survey of four questions and after closing the survey and clicking “show results” none were able to see them. Any clue as to what happened?Thanks!
