Slido for PowerPoint

Hello everyone,When using slido in Powerpoint (under Win 10) I get an error message as shown in the picture when inserting slides.At the bottom it says in red letters: "Oops! Something went wrong."All I can do is click "Okay". If I then want to insert the slide again, the error message comes up again.The only thing that helps is that I close Powerpoint, reload the presentation and then recreate the slide. But that's pretty annoying! I can't always close the entire presentation and restart it to insert new slides.What could be the reason?Thank you for your help!Best regards, buze

Hello,I’m trying to use Slido for Powerpoint.I created a Survey and I’m wondering if there is a possibility for the survey questions to display on screen after I open the slide.The only thing I’m able to show now is the title of the survey.Do I have to show the slide with the survey questions and run Slido from outside Powerpoint (maybe from slido.com)?Regards,Pascal

My presentations with Slido are suddenly having problems. They open but when launched, Powerpoint closes again. Up until yesterday, everything was working fine. Then today, nothing. I get a txt file called debug log in the folder where the presentation is located. When I open it, this message appears: [0911/163749.606:WARNING:main_runner.cc(261)] Alloy bootstrap is deprecated and will be removed in ~M127. See https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues/3685When the PPT presentation fails to launch, I am asked if I want to open PPT in safe mode. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what might be an adequate solution? 

I just installed the latest Slido for PowerPoint add-in update, and it keeps crashing PowerPoint. If I try to open a file with a Slido presentation added, the PowerPoint boot-up window comes up, then disappears and my file never opens. I can successfully open files without a Slido presentation, at which point the file I unsuccessfully tried to open will show up in the autosave alert column on the left. If I then try to open that autosaved file, it once more crashes PowerPoint. I can open all of my files fine if I disable the Slide add-in.I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Slido add-in, and disabling and re-enabling it. I’m on a PC running Windows 10 Education version.

I tried downloading the integration for powerpoint and got the following error message:I called my IT team and they said that I should reach out to you all because this is a software issue. Can someone help me with this?Thanks so much,Wendy

How do I switch between multiple rooms in one PowerPoint? We have different cohorts in one large session and so I’ve created rooms for each cohort, but we want them all to respond to the same question and view the results by cohort at the time of the presentation?

Hello there,Whenever I add a Slido-slide to a ppt, ppt crashes completely and need to restart. The add-in itself works fine in the right bar, I can switch sessions, add/remove/edit interactions as usual, but ppt does not want me to actually add the interaction slide to the presentation and immediately responds with “PowerPoint is not responding” without the option to wait for it to respond, only giving the option to restart. One out of five times, I also get the option to save the presentation before closing, but it is always closing the presentation. Once the slide is in it works flawlessly in presentation mode, but getting the slide in there is an iterative process that can go up towards 20 minutes of constant tries before I am allowed to save the slide to the presentation. I have downloaded the newest version of the ‘Slido ppt add-in’ from the website (4th of June, 2024) and it makes no difference.Any clue of what is going on? I mean.. it works, but it worked as intended previously

I am planning to use Slido for an online training session in PowerPoint.  I have two screens.  My large monitor with my webcam on the top... and my Surface Pro laptop below.  I use presenter mode on the laptop then swap that to my large screen so I can see me notes clearly and have my eyeline near the camera.  The regular slide show for what the participants see remains below on the laptop. All good usually but when I click through to the Slido poll slides the slido presentation only appears in about 2/3rd of the slide.  Anyone know how to rectify this?  I need my presenter notes on the large monitor up top as I can barely see the surface!

We have download and installed the Slido 1.10 version but was not showing in the Power point. We have reinstalled the same but still no luck. Restarted the device and updated the MS Office. Have checked in System tray and PP add-ins and Disabled but nothing there.

We’re considering switching from Menti beacuse of your better google slides integration. However, one thing that is holding me back is the open ended question format. Here Menti allows to show much more on one slide:  Maybe this is something you can add/improve on slido?

Dear SlidoThanks for a great service.I have a problem that I hope you can help me resolve.Currently I run the same presentation/training in 20 different places. I use a set of polls to engage but also for collecting data.Currently, I copy my presentation and then re-setup my Slido poll questions. This is because I want to save data collected and not having to reset the presentation every time.I’ve experienced a few times that the system crashes if I reuse my own poll templates.Is there an easier or better way for me to use Slido across my presentations without having to have 20 individual presentations and without having to (download the results) then delete the results by resetting the polls? I hope my question makes sense.Thanks in advance,Sonny 

Hello  I tested slido a few weeks ago with my private account. Now we have made a business account. But now I always get this message: I must be able to delete this link. I have deleted all surveys and even deleted my account. Nothing has worked.... Re-creating the PowerPoint is out of the question as there are over 100 pages. Thank you for your quick help. Greetings Daniel

How many attendees can participate in a Slido poll in Powerpoint at the same time?

Hi,I have a webex license that support slido and I’ve been using slido many times succesfully.Next month I need to run a session with hundreds of people connected; we are using slido from powerpoint and NOT in a webex session. My question: what is the maximum number of participants for slido polls when you use it from powerpoint (my license is a webex one)?

Why is Slido PowerPoint integration telling me I don't have access to my slido?  It is telling me I need to switch accounts or request access.

I’ve created a Power Point deck and included three slido slides. I click on the “Present with Slido” button to view the deck as if I was presenting it.The problem...the slido slide font is too big and does not fit in my screen. Is there a way for me to adjust the size of the Slido slide so all contents fit in my screen?  

How can we suppress the autoupdate on the client? We use MS SCCM for the app deployment. When closing the app or PowerPoint it tries to make an update. Can this be suppressed, as the users have no right to install apps on their clients?Thanks.

We have a multi-day event coming up. We are using a single, consolidated PowerPoint slide deck that will be used by all speakers. Several of the speakers have asked for their own Slido Q&A Session. Using the PowerPoint plugin for Slido I inserted the first of three slidos in the slide deck but when I went to add the next one it told me that by switching to the second slido it affected the one already in place. I tested it by inserting slido #1 on the first slide and then switching to slido #2 and then going back to the the #1 slide. The #1 slide was now pointed at the #2 slido. Is there a way to handle this?
