Does Slido work with PowerPoint Live?

Hi,I recently installed Windows 11 on my computer, and since then, I get this message bellow when I open Slido in Power Point. It’s on every slide . Can you pls help me with a solution, what needs to be installed and how? Thank you  

Hello,I have sucessfully downloaded Slido in my Windows. However, it appears as a red exclmation mark on the icon. When I try to login, it opens my browser asking me to login. When I click on my account and login in browser, the window in PowerPoint returns to ask me to sign in. Windows and Microsoft 365 are up-to-date. Tried different browser and restart the app & desktop.Thank you very much if anyone can help.

Hi, I was wondering if the following is possible, but can’t find anything. I want to run a poll during a presentation. However, once I go to a next slide, I want to keep the question open. I always have 1 “normal” slide and 1 polling slide. Is it possible that users can actually go back, once the new question is automatically displayed, but they want to keep adding their answer(s) to the prior question? Thank you! 

Following system upgrades on my device I can no longer integrate Slido into Powerpoint. I have followed all instructions to re-install it. Slido is now installed on my laptop and the relevant permissions granted by my organisation, but despite re-loading Powerpoint it is not there to add in. Any advice on how I get it to integrate please? Thanks

Hi, I would like to uninstall slido from power point. I don’t want to use it anymore, and I want it to be totally removed.I tried already to remove it from my App on my computer, but it didn’t delete it from PPT. I don’t want it at all aynmore. How can I do ? Thank you very much

In PowerPoint when I open up the Slido sidebar, I’m getting a message that i don’t have access to this slido and to request access from the slido owner. What could be going on?

I am trying to create a quiz with multiple questions. I am not seeing the “Add another question.” 

Is it possible to have the live integrated Slido poll while using Presenter view in Powerpoint? Right now, I can only see the poll go active when I click “present” and it goes straight to Slide Show. Am I missing a step or is this a limitation? Thanks!

In the last few days, I have started getting an error message when I save my PPT files adding a new Slido question or editing an existing question within a presentation. These are presentations that I have been working on, so neither the PPT, nor the Slido portions are new. Everything works as normal until I go to save to save, then I get a message that says “The file is corrupt and cannot be opened.” This prevents me from saving the updated file. As long as I don’t make changes to the Slido, the PPTs work fine and the presentations are working okay.I tried to uninstall and reinstall Slido, but nothing changed. My IT support didn’t have any additional ideas, so I thought I would reach out to other users to see if anyone else has experienced this.Any help would be appreciated!Thanks,Tami

Hello everyone,When using slido in Powerpoint (under Win 10) I get an error message as shown in the picture when inserting slides.At the bottom it says in red letters: "Oops! Something went wrong."All I can do is click "Okay". If I then want to insert the slide again, the error message comes up again.The only thing that helps is that I close Powerpoint, reload the presentation and then recreate the slide. But that's pretty annoying! I can't always close the entire presentation and restart it to insert new slides.What could be the reason?Thank you for your help!Best regards, buze

Hello,I’m trying to use Slido for Powerpoint.I created a Survey and I’m wondering if there is a possibility for the survey questions to display on screen after I open the slide.The only thing I’m able to show now is the title of the survey.Do I have to show the slide with the survey questions and run Slido from outside Powerpoint (maybe from slido.com)?Regards,Pascal

My presentations with Slido are suddenly having problems. They open but when launched, Powerpoint closes again. Up until yesterday, everything was working fine. Then today, nothing. I get a txt file called debug log in the folder where the presentation is located. When I open it, this message appears: [0911/163749.606:WARNING:main_runner.cc(261)] Alloy bootstrap is deprecated and will be removed in ~M127. See https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues/3685When the PPT presentation fails to launch, I am asked if I want to open PPT in safe mode. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what might be an adequate solution? 

I just installed the latest Slido for PowerPoint add-in update, and it keeps crashing PowerPoint. If I try to open a file with a Slido presentation added, the PowerPoint boot-up window comes up, then disappears and my file never opens. I can successfully open files without a Slido presentation, at which point the file I unsuccessfully tried to open will show up in the autosave alert column on the left. If I then try to open that autosaved file, it once more crashes PowerPoint. I can open all of my files fine if I disable the Slide add-in.I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Slido add-in, and disabling and re-enabling it. I’m on a PC running Windows 10 Education version.

I tried downloading the integration for powerpoint and got the following error message:I called my IT team and they said that I should reach out to you all because this is a software issue. Can someone help me with this?Thanks so much,Wendy

How do I switch between multiple rooms in one PowerPoint? We have different cohorts in one large session and so I’ve created rooms for each cohort, but we want them all to respond to the same question and view the results by cohort at the time of the presentation?

Hello there,Whenever I add a Slido-slide to a ppt, ppt crashes completely and need to restart. The add-in itself works fine in the right bar, I can switch sessions, add/remove/edit interactions as usual, but ppt does not want me to actually add the interaction slide to the presentation and immediately responds with “PowerPoint is not responding” without the option to wait for it to respond, only giving the option to restart. One out of five times, I also get the option to save the presentation before closing, but it is always closing the presentation. Once the slide is in it works flawlessly in presentation mode, but getting the slide in there is an iterative process that can go up towards 20 minutes of constant tries before I am allowed to save the slide to the presentation. I have downloaded the newest version of the ‘Slido ppt add-in’ from the website (4th of June, 2024) and it makes no difference.Any clue of what is going on? I mean.. it works, but it worked as intended previously

I am planning to use Slido for an online training session in PowerPoint.  I have two screens.  My large monitor with my webcam on the top... and my Surface Pro laptop below.  I use presenter mode on the laptop then swap that to my large screen so I can see me notes clearly and have my eyeline near the camera.  The regular slide show for what the participants see remains below on the laptop. All good usually but when I click through to the Slido poll slides the slido presentation only appears in about 2/3rd of the slide.  Anyone know how to rectify this?  I need my presenter notes on the large monitor up top as I can barely see the surface!

We have download and installed the Slido 1.10 version but was not showing in the Power point. We have reinstalled the same but still no luck. Restarted the device and updated the MS Office. Have checked in System tray and PP add-ins and Disabled but nothing there.

We’re considering switching from Menti beacuse of your better google slides integration. However, one thing that is holding me back is the open ended question format. Here Menti allows to show much more on one slide:  Maybe this is something you can add/improve on slido?
