New Slido for PowerPoint update crashing

I just installed the latest Slido for PowerPoint add-in update, and it keeps crashing PowerPoint. If I try to open a file with a Slido presentation added, the PowerPoint boot-up window comes up, then disappears and my file never opens. I can successfully open files without a Slido presentation, at which point the file I unsuccessfully tried to open will show up in the autosave alert column on the left. If I then try to open that autosaved file, it once more crashes PowerPoint. I can open all of my files fine if I disable the Slide add-in. I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Slido add-in, and disabling and re-enabling it. I’m on a PC running Windows 10 Education version.

Switching accounts for a PPT slide deck already created

Hi, I set up a few Slido presentations last year using another account. However, now I need to use my new account and email address - but Slido keeps stating: “This presentation is linked to another Slido account. To edit existing polls or add new ones, please switch to the Slido account connected to this presentation”. This is something that I can’t do now, so I hope you can help. Is there a way to simply transfer my PPT presentations to my new account? I’d hate to have to start all over again!

Number of polls in powerpoint

I have incorporated slido polls into a PowerPoint training presentation. However the maximum polls it will let me upload into my presentation is 9, but I want 15 is this correct? I have created 15 on my online app. How do I get around this as I want to use the same slido qr code throughout my training session Any advice would be helpful. Thank you

Hello, I created a slide deck with a Slido poll. I plan on hosting multiple meetings on different days and times. Can I use the same slide deck without losing my poll information or do I need to create different decks for each group?

How to add multiple slidos in just one powerpoint presentation? Because whenever I added another slido to different slides but still in the powerpoint presentation, it would delete the first one i added. Help me please.

Slido in Powerpoint insists presentation is linked to other account

Dear Community, I am trying to create a poll in a Powerpoint presentation for work, but there is an exclamation mark by the Slido logo and it says that the presentation is linked to another account. This seems to be a Microsoft ac.uk account I have with a university (where I sit on a committee), but that is not my primary place of work. I am trying to log into Slido with my .ac.uk account so I can log out of it, but it won’t accept my password. I click on ‘forgot password’ but no reset link arrives ( I am checking my spam folder in my Microsoft email account). The Powerpoint is provided for me by my employer on a work laptop, and I can log in and out of Slido at slido.com no problem with my work email (Google), but I cannot shift this association with the Microsoft account or log out of it. Any ideas, please? Thanks, Penny.

Consolidate Multiple Events

I am the cohost of multiple events. I want to consolidate all the slidos into one event. Is there a way to do this other than manually recreating each slide into one event?

Download For Powerpoint Integration not working

Grading Options?

If you wanted to assign a point value for your poll questions or just to a Quiz is there a way to do that so when someone completes a series of questions a percentage out of 100 is received by the presenter?

Hello! I am a new Slido user. I am looking to integrate a poll with a presentation created by a colleague - when I try and log in from my account it says that the presentation is linked with someone else’s account (my colleague’s). Slido for PowerPoint Error: "You appear to be offline. Check your internet connection."

I followed steps from video to download add-in. As soon as I open PowerPoint, Slido icon says I’m offline. The error never goes away even if I logout of Slido and back in again. I am most definitely not offline. Has anyone seen this error before? Thanks.

Can I export data from slidos created by free users?

Hello, I would just like to get clarity on my situation. I am currently using the free plan, and invited others to do so, too, as a way to engage participants. They have already created their own slidos using their accounts, and I only requested access for me to help manage them. My question is, if I purchase Engage plan, will I be able to export data from their slidos? Thank you!

Slido Ideas in Power Point

Hi Community, I have recently downloaded the Slido plugin for Power Point. I cannot seem to get Ideas to work in Power Point, can anyone confirm if they are using this please and if so what I am required to do to enable. I am running a workshop where I plan to ask the audience for a list of ideas and then rank their priority, using upload and down vote features. P/point integration - pop up box on a slide rather than a new slide

Hello We have a large slide deck and have connected Slido to our powerpoint presentation. Some slides have animation so we want Slido to appear in the middle of presenting first part of a slide. Is there a way for Slido to produce a pop up box on the slide rather than add a new slide? Are there any work arounds you could suggest rather than a brand new slide created?

How do I switch between multiple rooms in one PowerPoint? We have different cohorts in one large session and so I’ve created rooms for each cohort, but we want them all to respond to the same question and view the results by cohort at the time of the presentation?

Breaking a Slido Link in PowerPoint

I have a PowerPoint presentation I am re-tooling. It had a link from the original author, which I want to eliminate completely and start over. I cannot find how it is still liked as I deleted all of the Slido slides in the deck. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Powerpoint crashes when importing Slido-slide

Hello there, Whenever I add a Slido-slide to a ppt, ppt crashes completely and need to restart. The add-in itself works fine in the right bar, I can switch sessions, add/remove/edit interactions as usual, but ppt does not want me to actually add the interaction slide to the presentation and immediately responds with “PowerPoint is not responding” without the option to wait for it to respond, only giving the option to restart. One out of five times, I also get the option to save the presentation before closing, but it is always closing the presentation. Once the slide is in it works flawlessly in presentation mode, but getting the slide in there is an iterative process that can go up towards 20 minutes of constant tries before I am allowed to save the slide to the presentation. I have downloaded the newest version of the ‘Slido ppt add-in’ from the website (4th of June, 2024) and it makes no difference. Any clue of what is going on? I mean.. it works, but it worked as intended previousl

Run a quiz but input answers later

Can you please help if a free or paid version of Slido can help with following (I could not find it help center). We want to run a quiz format and have a leaderboard at end, but some challenges below All questions of our quiz to be shown one by one, but without revealing answers. After participants have responded to all questions, we will open each question, have a discussion on it and identify or choose out the correct answer from the audience discussion itself. Now, in this case, We will only come to know about correct answers after all Qs have been voted for and not at the time of framing the quiz. How can we input / select correct answer in the backend quickly and then reflect on the leaderboard with results, but after quiz polling has taken place?
