Solved

Hi there - I’m wondering if it’s possible to run a trivia game over multiple days using the ‘quiz’ function with the leaderboard. Here’s the scenario, we are having our upcoming Sales All Hands and it’s a 4 day event. I’d like to sprinkle trivia questions throughout the 4 day presentation that ask questions about what’s being shared. Hopefully this improves engagement and motivates people to pay attention. On the last day we would present the final question and the top 3 winners on the leader board win a prize. Is this possible? Anything special I need to do?

Hello,Where can i download the latest .msi installer for Windows 10, I see an older link for 10.0

I am a guest on an upcoming slido. I will be presenting one of many sessions.I'm trying to add two Live Q&As to a google slide deck and collect responses. Can I do so via a QR code?  It seems that I only have "poll" and "survey" permissions as a guest. Do I need to be invited with a different access level to create a "question" to collect responses and create the Q&A sessions? If I cannot do via QR code, I could utilize a Slido integration for Google Slides. However, I am working on a Mac computer and do not have powerpoint installed, however the presentation computer utilized for the event is a Microsoft / Powerpoint. Thank you for your guidance! All the best,Jess

Hello all,Is it possible to create a Slido survey that will branch off into different questions based on the previous answer? Example:What color is your Car?If they select RED, they get a certain group of questions (#s 2, 3, 4, and 5)If they select BLUE, they get a different group of questions (#s 6, 7, 8).  Thank you.

I am planning to use Slido for an online training session in PowerPoint.  I have two screens.  My large monitor with my webcam on the top... and my Surface Pro laptop below.  I use presenter mode on the laptop then swap that to my large screen so I can see me notes clearly and have my eyeline near the camera.  The regular slide show for what the participants see remains below on the laptop. All good usually but when I click through to the Slido poll slides the slido presentation only appears in about 2/3rd of the slide.  Anyone know how to rectify this?  I need my presenter notes on the large monitor up top as I can barely see the surface!

I want to run a poll but never share the results on the screen. I selected the option to hide results, but it looks like it’ll still display them upon the admin clicking? Is there a different way to set up a poll so that I can collect feedback but never display the results?

Hi team,I purchased an Engage annual plan a few months back, but I think I’d like to upgrade to the next level. Is there an easy way to do this from my account? I’ve already purchase a year of the Engage level and don’t want to create a new account. What can I do?

I want to set up some polls so that participants answering them cannot see who wrote what answers. But only I, as the admin, can see who wrote what answers - is this possible?

Is there a way that we can track participant names when they enter their answers in polls? Thanks.

Hi Community,I want to build a kind of scavenger hunt. Teams of three people will walk around a large garden. At ten different locations they should answer one question. So I don’t want them to just stand somewhere without moving and answer all 10 questions. ;) I wonder how to set this up best. Can I create this within one event and give them QR codes/links/passcodes to each questions or do I have to create ten events each with one poll? Thanks a bunch for a hint!

We have download and installed the Slido 1.10 version but was not showing in the Power point. We have reinstalled the same but still no luck. Restarted the device and updated the MS Office. Have checked in System tray and PP add-ins and Disabled but nothing there.

How does word cloud select the responses it displays? I know it shows the most common responses as a bigger font but many of the responses only have 1 vote. It doesn't seem to post the most recent responses. Just asking since some responses, which had very different topics, weren't reflected on the main screen. Thanks!

Hi there, I am going to be purchasing the enterprise option and will be setting the anonymity to default - always stay anonymous. Is there a way that the admins (me) could still track who answers polls and Q&As without other attendees seeing this information?  Essentially, we’d like to be able to track a participant’s responses and activities throughout the conference and in pre and post event surveys without any other participants seeing the names.  Thank you

Hi, we are considering purchasing Slido for our Consulting firm to run polls for our clients.   If we (the consulting firm) create a poll using our Slido account and provide our client with “guest” access, will the client be able to launch a Slido poll we created (on their PC) in PowerPoint?

We’re considering switching from Menti beacuse of your better google slides integration. However, one thing that is holding me back is the open ended question format. Here Menti allows to show much more on one slide:  Maybe this is something you can add/improve on slido?

Has asynchronous quizzing been added as a feature yet? From my search, it looks as though this is a highly requested feature that users have been requesting for 3+ years now.Even allowing users to view correct survey results asynchronously would be helpful if it is easier to do that than add this feature to the current quiz setup.

Hi,I cannot add additional interactions to my PowerPoint presentation. It's telling me to upgrade. Is there a limitation to the number of interactions you can use while you are on basic?

Hi, I created a slido poll on PowerPoint but it’s not showing the QR code when I present. Can you please help? Thank you

I have prepared several Slido polls, but when I share the slido link with participants, it is only showing one poll. After responding to the question, the participants are unable to go to the next one. Please help!

Can I present 2 different powerpoints at the same time using the same slido account?

Hey,I first tryed the free membership on SLIDO. In this free membership I created some polls in powerpoint. Some days later I got to know, that my organization (Heilbronn university, Germany) has an organizational account. So now I need to know how to transfer the existing polls in powerpoint (pptx) from one account (organization) to another account (organization). Thanks a lotWolfgang

Hi Slido Community. As the Slido Organisation Owner, I am able to view all Slido events for all users when I log on to the portal.  If I then access a slido that was created by one of the users, I am unable to add myself as a collaborator since I am already the org owner and have access to all Slido events by default (Error shown when trying to add myself:  “User already has access to the event”). When I host a Webex Webinar and try to add Slido, I am not able to add any of the user-created slido events to the Webinar.  The only Slido events I have access to are the events that I created myself. Am I missing something? Is something not working as it should? Should I be able to add Slido events to my Webex event even if I was not the original creator of the event?

I set up my account linked to google and now I want to remove this to avoid having to to log in through google. Is there a way to do this without losing my interactions?

Is there an option to add points manually in a quiz? Maybe give a bonus point of lets say 40 for those who answer quickly? I’m trying to make sure I don’t have a congested leaderboard. And maybe people could be ranked higher if they answer quicker?

Hi, I am testing to set up a vote for a club. I just came across a problem which I haven’t solved yet.I read, that it is not possible to vote twice if-you use the same e-Mail address “in the same browser” (on the same device), but: if you use it on another device, I think, I was able to vote twice with the same e-mail address.  I limited the access to only two e-mail addresses in the Slido Settings, one was mine, one of a colleague. My two mobile phones share Multi-Cards and the access code was sent to both of them to g-mail address. Both seem to share the same g-Mail account. Both received the mail. (while SMS to my knowledge only goes to one of the smartphones. And with that I was able to vote twice, one time on each device. (there are two allowed e-mail addresses in my current Slido, but now 3 counted votes)Now I also tried, to vote again on my PC (Laptop) device on which I also started the Slido Poll. And this vote was not identified as a new one.  Is there a solution for this?
