Slido for PowerPoint

How do I turn off translation while I am speaking?

I cannot see the poll option when I access slido via powerpoint, just mulitiple choice, open text, word cloud, rating ranking and quiz. Please direct me

Dear SlidoThanks for a great service.I have a problem that I hope you can help me resolve.Currently I run the same presentation / training i 20 different places. I use a set of polls to engage but also for collecting data.Currently, I copy my presentation and the re-setup my slido poll questions. Because I want to save data collected and not having to reset the presentation every time.I’ve experienced a few times that the system crashes if I reuse my own poll templates.In sum, is there an easy way for me to use slido across my presentation without having to have 20 individual presentations and without having to (download the results) then delete the results by resetting the polls? I hope my problem and questions is clear?Thanks in advanceSonny 

It is consistent enough that its not coincidence.  Everytime I open a PPT with Slido, it works for approximitely 5min. After 5 min, if i try to edit or add anything to my slido presentation it says “cannot save changes”. I close the PPT and re-open and it works again. Internet is fine and everything else works on my computer.

I have added a Slido to my powerpoint, and realised it was the wrong one from my list of Slido’s….how do I change it?I have searched the settings and can not see it for looking, when I add a slide it just adds it to the wrong Slido..

How many attendees can participate in a Slido poll in Powerpoint at the same time?

When I run ppt in presenter mode, I can see the Slido placeholder, but there is no way to activate the poll.  If I “present” from the Slido integration to start the poll, I cannot see my presenter notes while presenting.  How can I work around this? 

Hi,I have a webex license that support slido and I’ve been using slido many times succesfully.Next month I need to run a session with hundreds of people connected; we are using slido from powerpoint and NOT in a webex session. My question: what is the maximum number of participants for slido polls when you use it from powerpoint (my license is a webex one)?

I recently purchased the one-time $60 plan for an event I’m hosting on Tuesday February 6, 2024.  When creating my Slido polls in my presentation however, I notice am still to three polls.  I thought I was allowed unlimited polling for this single event?  How does that work?

When attempting to create a Slido quiz in PowerPoint, I can’t connect the questions under one quiz leaderboard.  Rather it appears that each slide is an independent quiz.  I also tried to add quiz questions through Slido.com, but could not get the questions to load when launching slido through PPT. Is it possible to create and run a quiz with leaderboarding in PowerPoint, or do you have to run the online version?

Hi! I want to run a unique quiz during the morning, but integrate the questions within various powerpoints of the various people speaking during the morning. Is this possible? And how would I implement this?Thanks in advance, Spadom 2023

I want to begin each lecture with four questions to ascertain knowledge of the subject matter that the participants may already have. I do not want them to see the results of the quiz at this point. At the end of the lecture, I will give the same quiz again, but after the time is up for the last question, I would like to reveal the results of the first quiz compared with the results of the second quiz.I’m a real newbie and right now I’m trying to figure out how to keep the results from showing even though I have unchecked the “Show Results” box.

Hello everybody Yes, I’m aware of this; Unfortunately it did not provide solution for me. I have Slido-item with seven (7) question and those need to be presented via company called Microsoft product of PowerPoint.My challenge lie that I cannot get all those seven questions to be presented as one view (when using Microsoft PowerPoint to work as platform for Slido), screen can provide only six (6) question. Any idea?

I’ve created a Power Point deck and included three slido slides. I click on the “Present with Slido” button to view the deck as if I was presenting it.The problem...the slido slide font is too big and does not fit in my screen. Is there a way for me to adjust the size of the Slido slide so all contents fit in my screen?  

How can we suppress the autoupdate on the client? We use MS SCCM for the app deployment. When closing the app or PowerPoint it tries to make an update. Can this be suppressed, as the users have no right to install apps on their clients.?Thanks.

We have a multi-day event coming up. We are using a single, consolidated PowerPoint slide deck that will be used by all speakers. Several of the speakers have asked for their own Slido Q&A Session. Using the PowerPoint plugin for Slido I inserted the first of three slidos in the slide deck but when I went to add the next one it told me that by switching to the second slido it affected the one already in place. I tested it by inserting slido #1 on the first slide and then switching to slido #2 and then going back to the the #1 slide. The #1 slide was now pointed at the #2 slido. Is there a way to handle this?

I don’t even see the option to create a poll. Top tabs are  Welcome guide, community,  help center, prodcuct news. What am I doing wrong? Just trying this out -- free plan, I think…? Help!

I have a weekly orientation that I would like to use Slido. The meeting has a different presenter each week. I added slido questions to the power point, when I present I am able to pull the results into the power point template ( I am assuming because I have the Slido Tool bar). Do I have to add every single presenter as a user and have them download the tool bar for them to pull in the poll results?

Hi, I am running multiple rooms with breakout sessions running at the same time with different presentations using quizzes.  I plan to gather an overall “event” leader board to drive some competitive energy throughout this event.  We are repeating the same Powerpoint presentations 10 times over the course of 2 days.Please advise if this is the recommended procedures for the start of each breakout session. OR provide the best alternative.1. Reset sessionRun PPT Presentation (using PPT integration) Once presentation end, Download results for all Rooms RepeatWill this prevent data from previous session to be overwritten?  I can then merge all 10 data-sets to create a overall leader board.

Dear community, I am facing compatibility issues working with empower addin.If both addins are installed, Powerpoint is hanging in Presenter mode. You can always reproduce it, tested with Office 2019 and Office 365, empower ver 8.7 and latest Slido, Steps to reproduce:create new presentation add some slido artifact (e.g. Question, Join Information) save presentation start presentation in presenter mode → Powerpoint is crashing (stopping working and restarting) after 20 sek. Starting in presenter mode is not possible.Is the issue with empower known?Is there a fix or workaround for working with empower?empower is rolled out corporate wide and seems the co-existing of both addins is not possible at this moment. I have created one presentation with Slido interactions embedded.I am trying to creat a second presentation for a different event but I cannot create a new event through powerpoint (it only shows the first event) I created a new event on the slido website but I cannot see this event in powerpointHow do I resolve this?
