Slido for PowerPoint

My sidebar is blank.I’ve tried to uninstall, reboot, reinstall.When I try to repair, I get this error (while it is “Processing: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8”):I have also updated to SlidoSetup_v1.12.0.5522, tried reinstalling .net 4.8, and my IT said that they don’t have the “Attack surface reduction policy” enabled.Any other suggestions? 

Hello,I try to use Slido with Powerpoint.I created a Survey and I’m wondering if there is a possibility that the survey questions are displayed on screen after I open the slide.The only thing I’m able to show is the title iof the survey.Or do I have to show the slide with the survey questions and run Slido from outside Powerpoint (either with Slido Switch or from the Slido admin) ?RegardsPascal

Had a Slido malfunction during a stakeholder meeting where we were trying to survey people in the room through our PPT that was connected to a laptop and sharing that screen on the projector. The questions I created for the survey were suddenly all out of order as our project manager went through - and some people said they could not even progress past the initial question on their phones. I did a run through with a colleague days before on the ppt using our mobile devices with no issues, questions were in order. And the order mattered.What could’ve caused this? I’ve never had this issue using slido before - we had to quickly switch to an analog solution where I asked the questions and wrote everyone’s answers down on a giant sticky pad. Not ideal.  Thank you in advance. 

My presentations with Slido are suddenly having problems. They open but when launched, Powerpoint closes again. Up until yesterday, everything was working fine. Then today, nothing. I get a txt file called debug log in the folder where the presentation is located. When I open it, this message appears: [0911/163749.606:WARNING:main_runner.cc(261)] Alloy bootstrap is deprecated and will be removed in ~M127. See https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues/3685When the PPT presentation fails to launch, I am asked if I want to open PPT in safe mode. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what might be an adequate solution? 

For the first time I am using Slido for multiple choice questions in a PowerPoint Zoom presentation. How can I verify slido works and attendees can answer the questions before the Zoom presentation? Thank you.

I have a survey that keeps reverting to “Don’t show results”.  How do I fix it?  It’s a select one poll with an open ended poll if they selected Other. I have another survey that combines several select one questions and it displays fine when I’m presenting.

Hi Everyone,I’m very new to Slido.I’m working on a ppt where someone else previously created slido’s then deleted them from the ppt.I want to create new slidos within the same ppt but keep getting the message…“This presentation is linked to another Slido accountTo edit existing polls or add new ones, please switch to the Slido account connected to this presentation.”The original person deleted the slido linked to the ppt, so how can I add a new slido using my account?Many thanks for your advice.

I just installed the latest Slido for PowerPoint add-in update, and it keeps crashing PowerPoint. If I try to open a file with a Slido presentation added, the PowerPoint boot-up window comes up, then disappears and my file never opens. I can successfully open files without a Slido presentation, at which point the file I unsuccessfully tried to open will show up in the autosave alert column on the left. If I then try to open that autosaved file, it once more crashes PowerPoint. I can open all of my files fine if I disable the Slide add-in.I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Slido add-in, and disabling and re-enabling it. I’m on a PC running Windows 10 Education version.

Hi, I set up a few Slido presentations last year using another account. However, now I need to use my new account and email address - but Slido keeps stating: “This presentation is linked to another Slido account. To edit existing polls or add new ones, please switch to the Slido account connected to this presentation”. This is something that I can’t do now, so I hope you can help. Is there a way to simply transfer my PPT presentations to my new account? I’d hate to have to start all over again! 

I have incorporated slido polls into a PowerPoint training presentation. However the maximum polls it will let me upload into my presentation is 9, but I want 15 is this correct?  I have created 15 on my online app.How do I get around this as I want to use the same slido qr code throughout my training sessionAny advice would be helpful. Thank you 

How to add multiple slidos in just one powerpoint presentation? Because whenever I added another slido to different slides but still in the powerpoint presentation, it would delete the first one i added. Help me please.

Dear Community,I am trying to create a poll in a Powerpoint presentation for work, but there is an exclamation mark by the Slido logo and it says that the presentation is linked to another account. This seems to be a Microsoft ac.uk account I have with a university (where I sit on a committee), but that is not my primary place of work. I am trying to log into Slido with my .ac.uk account so I can log out of it, but it won’t accept my password. I click on ‘forgot password’ but no reset link arrives ( I am checking my spam folder in my Microsoft email account). The Powerpoint is provided for me by my employer on a work laptop, and I can log in and out of Slido at slido.com no problem with my work email (Google), but I cannot shift this association with the Microsoft account or log out of it. I am the cohost of multiple events. I want to consolidate all the slidos into one event. Is there a way to do this other than manually recreating each slide into one event?

If you wanted to assign a point value for your poll questions or just to a Quiz is there a way to do that so when someone completes a series of questions a percentage out of 100 is received by the presenter?

If I had availed of the Engage plan, will I be able to export the quiz scores of all participants (and not just the top 5)?

If I pay for an Engage plan on my Slido Account, will I be able to export data from slidos created by other users if I was given access to them?

Hi Community, I have recently downloaded the Slido plugin for Power Point. I cannot seem to get Ideas to work in Power Point, can anyone confirm if they are using this please and if so what I am required to do to enable. I am running a workshop where I plan to ask the audience for a list of ideas and then rank their priority, using upload and down vote features. I do not wish to use a predefined lists of responses for voting against. Many thanks Question1234

HelloWe have a large slide deck and have connected Slido to our powerpoint presentation.Some slides have animation so we want Slido to appear in the middle of presenting first part of a slide. Is there a way for Slido to produce a pop up box on the slide rather than add a new slide?Are there any work arounds you could suggest rather than a brand new slide created? 

How do I switch between multiple rooms in one PowerPoint? We have different cohorts in one large session and so I’ve created rooms for each cohort, but we want them all to respond to the same question and view the results by cohort at the time of the presentation?

I have a PowerPoint presentation I am re-tooling.  It had a link from the original author, which I want to eliminate completely and start over.I cannot find how it is still liked as I deleted all of the Slido slides in the deck.Any thoughts?Thank you!
