Slido for PowerPoint

Hello, I have just received my licence and have created a rating poll in PowerPoint. However, when colleagues scan the QR code it doesn’t take them to the poll it asks for a sign on. Is there something that I need to change that will allow then to access the poll directly as they will be using their personal mobile phones.

Hi, I built a survey with about ~25 questions for a meeting, however some of these questions are just for detailling and staying in our backlog. I would like to show results only for 10 of these questions in PPT - is there any way I can do that?

I have been using Slido almost a year and when I went to use this am...I got a virus threat warning on my virus protection software and it seems to be blocking the site on my powerpoint. Any thoughts? Anyone else getting this warning?

I’ve created questions using the Slido add in app in PowerPoint. I was using the free plan. Once I hit the limit, I upgraded to a paid plan. But, the Slido in app version in PowerPoint doesn’t recognize my upgrade. The chat support suggested I close and re-open PowerPoint, which I did. It also suggested I select “My Slido” in PowerPoint to select the current plan but that’s not an option I see in PPT. I’m on a Mac. Has anyone experienced and overcome this issue? 

I am presenting across a large screen and the powerpoint slide settings are 127 cm x 42 cm. When I get to the slido slides they look like this. Is there a setting I need to change? 

In case I have multple quizzes, could I have a final winner (who ansewered correctly to most of quizzes) ? 

Hi Slido team/community,I’m using Slido with PowerPoint and I’m trying to understand if it’s possible to control which audience questions are displayed to participants — e.g., approve and show selected questions only when I choose.Right now it seems that all questions submitted by participants are visible without a way to hide or manually publish them from the free plan, even though I expected some control over which questions appear for the audience. I’ve tried to control it with the eysymbol by the question but i doesnt seem to work when i’m using it in my presentation. I’ve read that moderation features (where questions are reviewed before being shown) are available in Professional or higher plans, but I want to confirm: Is there any way in the free plan to approve/dismiss or hide questions before they become visible to participants? Does this apply when using Slido embedded in PowerPoint presentations as well as in browser/Teams?   Thanks in advance for clarification! 🙏

Hello, I am new to Slido. I am organising a conference where three (and possibly more) presenters want to use Slido integrated into Powerpoint. They all have their own Engage accounts.My understanding is that they need to be logged into their own respective Slido account in order to get their own Slido/Powerpoint presentations to work. How annoying is it for the audience to have to scan several QR codes over the course of the day to interact with the individual lectures? And is it commonly done this way?Thanks – Simon

Hi there! I am making a powerpoint with Slido for some games for a work event next week. I am trying to create a quiz. The quiz will have quite a few answers to choose from (we’re guessing who’s who from baby pictures). When I start the quiz and it goes to the screen to show how many people voted for a specific answer, I can’t see all of the results. Is there a way to see all the options? I’m not able to scroll, it just gets cut off.

SlidoSetup_v1.20.0.7308 crashes PowerPoint, Can I get a pervious version?

I would like to insert an image on the poll slide. How can I do that? 

We will be presenting at a conference soon and the conference will pre-load the presentation on their laptops for my session. Will they need to have the slido add-in on their laptop for me to use slido? Can I still present and have all the necessary features (especially live results from questions) work as they should if they do NOT download the extension?

When I have a slido in my PPT and then present my PPT in a teams meeting, I cannot see the slido QR code or the code to log in. I can only see it if I run the presentation and share my screen. But that means, with presentation notes my 2nd screen is blocked and I can’t see my audience.

I have a number of polls imbedded into a PowerPoint deck. I’d like to open one of the polls ahead of the event to start collecting results early. Ideally I’d leave the poll open until the event starts. I know I can activate the poll using my browser, but I won’t be able to keep my browser open for days at a time as I’ll be traveling to the event. Is there another way to open a poll ahead of an event and keep it open? 

I’m using the powerpoint plugin to insert a few poll questions from a single Slido.  I want to hide the answers until the audience completes their answers, then reveal what they said.  This is working fine for stack ranking and multiple choice questions.  But it doesn’t work for the open text question...as soon as someone answers it appears in the powerpoint show.  I keep checking the Hide Results option but can’t seem to get it to work. Any ideas?  Thanks!!

Morning. I am using Slido for the very first time tomorrow for a training event. We have is set up for one event only, and we are using it as part of a powerpoint presentation. I have tested it a couple of times so i am fairly confident everything will work, however I just want to check if I need to do anything other than start the presentation tomorrow. Do I need to do anything on Slido?  

When attempting to create a Slido quiz in PowerPoint, I can’t connect the questions under one quiz leaderboard.  Rather it appears that each slide is an independent quiz.  I also tried to add quiz questions through Slido.com, but could not get the questions to load when launching slido through PPT. Is it possible to create and run a quiz with leaderboarding in PowerPoint, or do you have to run the online version?

I am preparing two presentations happening in the same week that I will not be attending.  My colleague will be managing/presenting these on his laptop.  I’m now discovering that he cannot be cohost to two presentations at the same time.  If we purchase a second Engage license for him will that suffice?  If not, what do we need to do to allow this to work?

I tried a different polling platform and after all my work was done, I was told you cannot use the polls in PowerPoint presenter view which is a bummer. I use Presenter view to keep my speaker notes up.  I need a new platform. Can you use sSido polls in PowerPoint presenter view?

Hi - does Slido work with Powerpoint Live? I tried to run a poll and it didn’t seem to work properly. I’ve seen people ask this question previously, but the last thread was from 3 years ago when the answer was no, so I wondered if anything had changed since then?

Hi-- I’m new to Slido, and love it so far. I have a weird thing happening where i created a quiz and played it from two different mobile devices to test it out. I made sure both entrants got every question right, and then Slido named the one with the SLOWER time the winner! Any idea why this might’ve happened? 

Hello,I'm just try to build a 5-question-quiz using my Slido professional plan and I'm stuck: I can display the leaderboard after each question. Now I'm looking for a leaderboard that covers all questions to determine which participant answered the most questions correctly, because I want to make they win a prize at the end. I fear Slido can't do that. Is there anyone might be able to help? Rolf
