I’m getting a message that i don’t have access to this slido and to request access from the slido owner. But all I’ve done is open my PowerPoint and click on the Slido button.

Multiple people using the same presentation with Slido

Hello,We are rolling out a training session for our entire organization. We have about 100 facilitators. All facilitators have a Slido license. We want one universal PowerPoint with Slido interactions. Is this something that we can do? If we can how would we do this?

Presenting ppt in a teams meeting

When I have a slido in my PPT and then present my PPT in a teams meeting, I cannot see the slido QR code or the code to log in. I can only see it if I run the presentation and share my screen. But that means, with presentation notes my 2nd screen is blocked and I can’t see my audience.

Hi,what subscription plan do I need if I want to have a slido question leading to a wordcloud answer in my powerpoint presentation while I am presenting?I guess it doesn’t work with the free plan. Which plan do I need to have two such wordcloud slides in my presentation?Thanks & kind regards

Using presenter view in PowerPoint

Is it possible to have the live integrated Slido poll while using Presenter view in Powerpoint? Right now, I can only see the poll go active when I click “present” and it goes straight to Slide Show. Am I missing a step or is this a limitation? Thanks!

Reg. Slido Quiz answers

We had a conference in which the final quiz competition was conducted using Slido Quiz. During the quiz, we did not allow the participants to know if their answers were correct/ incorrect by double clicking and moving on to the next question in each round.After the quiz, we got the leaderboard too and announced the top 5 winners. Then, the faculty began to discuss answers to the questions with the participants. Mid-way in between, one of the staff, closed the presentation from the presenter’s laptop but then as the participants wanted to be able to see their questions and answers on Slido, the quiz was left active again by pressing ‘yes’ in the pop-up box that asked whether we wanted to leave the quiz open (active) or not. After this reactivation and completion of the answer discussion, one of the participants came and showed that 2 questions in which she had marked the correct answers were marked as wrong by Slido in her ‘View my answers’ section. Is there an easier way to let pools work without the need to enter on slido webpage and initiate each pool every time?

I have set up different pools to obtain the perception from the public on each module of the training. These pools are part of one set and other trainers put together other sets of pools for their public too. The problem I see is that to make the related QR code work and direct the public attention to the right pool, I have to enter on slido and stop the previous pool and open the next one, every time. No one else can do it, but me. It is not worth it to have this inconvenience all the time. I would like to minister the same training to different groups of people, having the same training modules being presented on every training day and I would like to know their opinion on how the training was, without the need to go there every time and keep closing, opening, closing, opening… I would like them to be permanently opened to the internal public of my company during a long time, like a year. Is it possible to set up the pools on that way?

Corrupt PPT file when adding new Slido questions

In the last few days, I have started getting an error message when I save my PPT files adding a new Slido question or editing an existing question within a presentation. These are presentations that I have been working on, so neither the PPT, nor the Slido portions are new. Everything works as normal until I go to save to save, then I get a message that says “The file is corrupt and cannot be opened.” This prevents me from saving the updated file. As long as I don’t make changes to the Slido, the PPTs work fine and the presentations are working okay.I tried to uninstall and reinstall Slido, but nothing changed. My IT support didn’t have any additional ideas, so I thought I would reach out to other users to see if anyone else has experienced this.Any help would be appreciated!Thanks,Tami

error message in powerpoint

Hello everyone,When using slido in Powerpoint (under Win 10) I get an error message as shown in the picture when inserting slides.At the bottom it says in red letters: "Oops! Something went wrong."All I can do is click "Okay". If I then want to insert the slide again, the error message comes up again.The only thing that helps is that I close Powerpoint, reload the presentation and then recreate the slide. But that's pretty annoying! I can't always close the entire presentation and restart it to insert new slides.What could be the reason?Thank you for your help!Best regards, buze

When using slido in ppt, delay in live slido quesiton screen

HI there, I’m trying to use slide integrated within PPT. It generally functions well, but when in presentation mode and I appear on the slido ppt slide with the question - there’s a 1 second delay before the format of the slide changes to the live slido.  Is there a way to eliminate this “lag”?

Side bar blank when trying to switch to another Slido

My sidebar is blank.I’ve tried to uninstall, reboot, reinstall.When I try to repair, I get this error (while it is “Processing: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8”):I have also updated to SlidoSetup_v1.12.0.5522, tried reinstalling .net 4.8, and my IT said that they don’t have the “Attack surface reduction policy” enabled.Any other suggestions?

Hello,I try to use Slido with Powerpoint.I created a Survey and I’m wondering if there is a possibility that the survey questions are displayed on screen after I open the slide.The only thing I’m able to show is the title iof the survey.Or do I have to show the slide with the survey questions and run Slido from outside Powerpoint (either with Slido Switch or from the Slido admin) ?RegardsPascal

Slido questions reodered themselves during a presentation!?

Had a Slido malfunction during a stakeholder meeting where we were trying to survey people in the room through our PPT that was connected to a laptop and sharing that screen on the projector. The questions I created for the survey were suddenly all out of order as our project manager went through - and some people said they could not even progress past the initial question on their phones. I did a run through with a colleague days before on the ppt using our mobile devices with no issues, questions were in order. And the order mattered.What could’ve caused this? I’ve never had this issue using slido before - we had to quickly switch to an analog solution where I asked the questions and wrote everyone’s answers down on a giant sticky pad. Not ideal.  Thank you in advance.

Issues with Slido for PowerPoint. The presentations suddenly stopped opening

My presentations with Slido are suddenly having problems. They open but when launched, Powerpoint closes again. Up until yesterday, everything was working fine. Then today, nothing. I get a txt file called debug log in the folder where the presentation is located. When I open it, this message appears: [0911/163749.606:WARNING:main_runner.cc(261)] Alloy bootstrap is deprecated and will be removed in ~M127. See https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues/3685When the PPT presentation fails to launch, I am asked if I want to open PPT in safe mode. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what might be an adequate solution?

Survey keeps reverting to don't show results

I have a survey that keeps reverting to “Don’t show results”.  How do I fix it?  It’s a select one poll with an open ended poll if they selected Other. I have another survey that combines several select one questions and it displays fine when I’m presenting.

Need help to create a new slido on a ppt where another slido created a slido then deleted it.

Hi Everyone,I’m very new to Slido.I’m working on a ppt where someone else previously created slido’s then deleted them from the ppt.I want to create new slidos within the same ppt but keep getting the message…“This presentation is linked to another Slido accountTo edit existing polls or add new ones, please switch to the Slido account connected to this presentation.”The original person deleted the slido linked to the ppt, so how can I add a new slido using my account?Many thanks for your advice.
